I mean you could have like 10 artillery units in the attacking army while your reinforcements consists of only infantry or whatever but you still have that insane range and it's also almost impossible for at least one of the factions untill at a later point. You can easily lose entire units very very quickly if you don't rush. It doesn't take much to loose a lot of men and Imperials especialy are very vulnerable.
they are pretty efficient in damage output As far as the middle of your deployment zone, almost reaching the edge of the map. So there is redicilous range on the towers. Even then, you loose a considerable amount of men, including artillery crew because they are in range. As soon as they get in range however they get quickly decimated leaving you only with the choice to either rush the gate or sacrifice some of your less valuable units by placing them in front-of the canons and be engaged by the towers first. So here are the main issues with your tower system:Įspecialy the upgraded ones can inflict total ( no pun intended ) casualties on your siege equipment, including artillery because most siege artillery is simply out of range for them. what is that supposed to be CA ? you want to me to autoresolve everything by blobbing 2-3 fully stacked armies on each enemy town. Ĭ) Half your army and most your siege equipment gets decimated by 1-2 active towers alone.
CA - tell me, what sense does it make to construct siege equipment whenĪ) they get destroyed by towers with impossible range, while they are out of range for your canonsī) your canons waste all their ammunition to take down one single tower ( which doesn't even work sometimes ) while the other towers keep decimating half your army.
